Filling with MgO

The C.S.M. high speed filling machine has special features built in it so that it can give a uniform and consistant distribution of the MgO powder inside the sheath after the filling process even at the high speeds used. The characteristics are listed below.

Patented system for MgO flow control, which allows for greater filling speeds. The system is fitted with a mechanical opening/closing device that not only allows higher MgO flow rates, but keeps it from flowing once closed
The possibility of keeping the vibration on at the end of the cycle (at the top end that is) for an adjustable amount of time so as, to increase the (powder) packing in the top end
The possibility of regulating the space without MgO on the top end of the tube
An electromechanical vibration system is used in place of the traditional electromagnetic vibration system, which was unstable and difficult to regulate. The new system is perfectly stable and is characterised by symmetrical oscillations even when varying the vibration frequency. A d.c. motor causes the vibration. By changing the rotational speed of the motor, it is possible to obtain different vibration frequencies
