CSM automatic coil winding machine is defined by speed , ease of use and maintenance as well as precise cutting solutions ensuring high performance of coiling in line with latest quality standards.

Completely electronic and automatized, CSM Machinery products are designed to solve a series of problems and limitations common for a traditional coil-winding machine, such as:

• inconsistency of speed due to a single motorization and to the use of clutches to transmit movement to the backing wheels;
• long set up times and skilled operators to run the machine;
• variation of the coil ohmic value in classic wire coiling machine due to possible variations within the wire used;
• difficulty to obtain a product without the deformations on the ends due to the cutting operation (curl).

The CSM MACHINERY coiling machine is characterized by an electronic system for the constant control and the self-calibration of the ohmic value on the coil. This system allows to identify out-of-tolerance wire sections and possible wire tension problems.

The essential characteristics of the machine are:

• Constancy of working parameters, such as mandrel and thrust wheel speed resulting from the use of cc motors (no clutch).
• Possibility of set mandrel speed, with automatic proportional adjustment of the thrust wheels.
• Device to continuous measurement the length of the wire (encoder).
• Quick and easy set-up when changing coil diameter, mandrel diameter and wire diameter, using preset parameters.
• Automatic regulation pre-cutting, when changing coil diameter.
• Constancy of the ohmic value on the coil, independently from the ohmic variations of the wire used.
• Possibility of setting a production program, in quantity and ohmic value per batch
• Elimination of the deformation (curl) normally produced during the cutting process.
• Presence of an electronic system for the continuous control of the correct functioning of the electronic circuits for the detection of the ohmic value of the wire (machine stop in case of incorrect functioning)
• Automatic system which stops the machine in case the wire is tangled around the mandrel
• Ease of use

CSM MACHINERY coiling machine allows to produce coils with one or two wires and, simply implementing the machine with a specific accessory, it is possible to realize coils with three or four wires, too.

The coiling machine provides for a mechanic reactive braking system which control automatically the wire tension through controlled spool braking. Moreover, it has a system to separate coils through cutting blade. This device has the possibility to program up to 100 separations depending on the programmed ohmic value.
