CSM MACHINERY’s plug up unit is engineered for seamless integration at the end of the filling process. This device automatically assembles the plastic plug onto the upper terminal pin of filled electrical heating elements. This is a crucial step to prevent magnesium oxide leakage.
Once the operator loads the filled electrical heating elements into the machine, the plug up unit operates autonomously.
as the machine seamlessly fits into the filling automation process.
Details
The operator easily transfers the filled resistors to the capping machine using a dedicated gripper. Once programmed, the machine autonomously executes the capping cycle. At the end of the cycle, the assembled resistors are unloaded, ensuring a continuous workflow as new resistors are loaded for a second operating cycle.
A distinctive feature of this device is its ability to reverse the direction of advancement to perform the same operations on subsequent batches of electrical resistors, thereby maximizing productivity. An additional significant advantage is the absence of manual adjustments required when the resistor length changes. This greatly simplifies production changeovers and reduces downtime.
